1. Sound
For most of our performances, we never had a soundcheck and we had nine members in the crew which would have made setting levels difficult as most setups had a maximum of 3 mics. One of our best performances was at a beachfront hotel in Port Shepstone where the crowd asked for an encore.
2. Crowd
The crowd during our group performance days was really difficult to please, we would generally perform at places promoted for other genres and not hip hop. We still jammed for the 5 people rocking to our music and the people packing up and leaving.
I remember performing for the launch of the P9 (now Gaggasi FM) radio station, I was screaming at the mic because it felt like the crowd wasn’t hearing me or us.
